The Conservatory Dance Studio was established in 1993 by Administrative Director, Linda McSwain and Artistic Director, Jeffrey Marc Rockland. The studio began the fall of 1993 with one main studio located at 2666B 11th Ave, Hillside Mall-Rear (behind the Conditioning Spa). Today, The Conservatory Dance Studio is still owned by Linda McSwain along with her two partners, daughter, Katie McSwain and Jenni Leinweber.
Since 1993 The Conservatory has helped nurture many fine artists who have been accepted to prestigious programs such as The EDGE Scholarship Program in Hollywood, CA and the Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive. Conservatory students have been accepted into esteemed university dance programs and professional dance companies. Other students have gone on to dance professionally for Disney, Nike, iPod, Las Vegas shows, cruise lines, the Denver Bronco Cheerleaders, and various modeling agencies, in addition to, becoming teachers, choreographers and studio owners of their own.
The Loveland Dance Academy was established in 1998 by Artistic Director, Jenni Leinweber and Financial Advisor, Linda McSwain. The Loveland studio began on July 1, 1998 in Historic Downtown Loveland, located at 126 W. 4th Street (the corner of 4th Street & Garfield).
In 2002, Katie McSwain joined the crew and became an owner along with Linda and Jenni. After 15 years at the location on 4th Street, the three partners made plans to move to a bigger facility. In 2013, a downtown building was purchased and complete renovation occurred to make room for a larger, high quality dance studio space.
The Loveland Dance Academy has a diverse staff of instructors, many of whom have operated their own dance studios, dance programs and professional performing companies. Since 1998 Loveland Dance Academy has helped nurture many fine artists who have been accepted to prestigious summer Ballet programs and college dance programs. Other students have gone on to dance for professional sporting teams such as the Colorado Eagles Chicks and modeling agencies, in addition to becoming teachers, choreographers and studio owners of their own.
Our studio's mission is to deliver the art and freedom of dance within a positive and encouraging environment that develops healthy and accomplished people through a curriculum based approach.
Both the Conservatory Dance Studio and Loveland Dance Academy are owned by Linda McSwain, Jenni Leinweber and Katie McSwain. The three partners have jointly owned several businesses over the years. In August 2011 they formed Dance Dream 3 Studios, LLC. This entity combined the businesses of The Conservatory Dance Studio, Loveland Dance Academy and Tutu Cute Dance Boutique.
